Where can I go with a Wooster degree?
The aim of a liberal arts education — to free you to pursue your own path — is the guiding principle behind Wooster’s academic program. You’ll find that the analytical tools, research skills, and writing ability you hone here will serve you well no matter where life takes you. And where might that be? Sometimes the path is pretty clear: from chemistry and biology major to physician, theatre major to dramaturg with the Huntington Theatre Company in Boston, political science and philosophy major to Federal judge, or economics major to president of a paintball equipment company with $30 million in annual sales. For other Wooster graduates, the journey is a bit more idiosyncratic, but thanks to the flexibility and portable skills they developed here, the destination is equally satisfying. Sociology majors become reporters and ordained ministers, geologists become CEOs, biology majors become medical illustrators and Navy SEALs.
