President's House

The President's Home

The President's Home is located on the campus at 433 East University Street. It was completely remodeled in 1969 and significantly refurbished during the summer of 2007. Wooster's 11th president, Grant H. Cornwell, resides in the Home.

Did You Know? - There have been only 11 presidents since Willis Lord became Wooster's first leader in 1870. Five of the presidents have buildings named in their honor (Taylor, Scovel, Holden, Wishart, Lowry).

One of the most memorable experiences during freshman orientation is the dessert at the President’s Home. It is a great way to get to know the president, as you will see him at many events throughout your four years on campus. Don’t be surprised if he remembers your name!
