McGaw Chapel

McGaw Chapel

McGaw Chapel, completed in the fall of 1971, is the site for numerous college activities, including guest speakers and concerts. Westminster Church House, located on the south end of campus, houses the offices for Westminster Presbyterian Church, which holds Sunday worship services in McGaw Chapel. The seating capacity at McGaw is 1,600.

Did You Know? - A number of prominent people have spoken or performed in McGaw Chapel, including Senator Bill Bradley, political analyst George Will, author David Halberstam, and former White House Chief of Staff to President Nixon John Dean (’61).

Designed to be a multi-purpose facility, McGaw seats approximately 1,650 people — about our student-body size. It is also used for the College's musical groups, The Forum Series, and guest recitals. There are weekly church services for the College and the community, but attendance is never required.
