Lowry Center

Lowry Center

The center of campus activity is Lowry Center. In addition to housing the largest of the two student dining halls, Lowry Center also contains a snack bar, a bookstore, a game room and several large lounge areas. Recent additions to Lowry Center's basement floor are the Java Hut and “The Wired Scot” — a Cyber Café. The College's post office is also located in Lowry Center.

Did You Know? - Wooster opened a Cyber Café called “The Wired Scot” in the basement of Lowry Center in 2003. Features of “The Wired Scot” include 22 PC workstations with Internet access, two large plasma-screen TVs, and wireless Internet access throughout the building to anyone with wireless capability.

Wired Scot

“The Wired Scot” is located in the basement of Lowry Center and provides workstations and printing services 24 hours a day.

Lowry Center is the “heart” of the campus. Students get their mail from their post office box in Lowry, buy books, gifts, or Wooster gear at the bookstore, and (most importantly) eat in the College’s main dining hall, Mom’s Truck Stop, or the Java Hut.
