Freedlander Theatre

Freedlander Theatre

Attached to Wishart Hall, Freedlander Theatre is a thrust-proscenium theatre that seats 400 people. Also located inside the facility is the Effie Shoolroy Arena Theatre that seats 135 people.

Did You Know? - The Ohio Light Opera, the only professional company in the U.S. entirely devoted to operetta, performs during the summer months at Freedlander Theatre.

Freelander houses several different stages where students and community members can perform. The main theatre seats roughly 400 people, while the black-box theatre beside it seats around 100. Each semester dance concerts are held on the main stage. Also presented in the main theatre are all student productions, which include musicals and/or dramas.
