Office of Admissions Changes
New AAR Coordinator
My name is Chemeli Kipkorir and I’m originally from Nairobi, Kenya but also call Washington, D.C. my home after my family moved to the area in 1994. Loren Pope’s, Colleges That Change Lives, led me to Wooster where I spent a wonderful four years, in which I managed to change majors twice, study in France, and graduate with a degree in English in 2000! After graduation, I found myself working in college admissions at Georgetown University’s IEMBA program, which you can imagine was very different from the way small liberal arts colleges recruit. I’ve been at Wooster for five years now and have enjoyed the opportunity of going around the country, and the world, sharing my wonderful experiences about Wooster with prospective students and their families, and school counselors.
Cindy Maxhimer, Charles Laube and I look forward to continuing to work with you on the AAR program this year!
